My all day tours normally take place from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm, although the start and end of the tour is individually set. The standard pick up place is at the port of Hvar, but when possible, I pick up guests at their accommodation/hotel. Skipper and fuel are always included in the arranged price, while lunch is not and is optional. My boat can take maximum 6 passengers, has a cooler with water provided for guests on the tour, as well as snorkelling gear.My tours are always tailored according to my guests’ preferences. I must say I am happiest when they go with my suggestions as that way they get to see the best Hvar area has to offer. As a local skipper whose life has always revolved around the sea (either as a child who was brought up in a family of fishermen and boat owners, then as a professional fisherman and for many years now a boats owner) I can say this area is known to me as the back of my hand. And there are amazing places I would like you to see!

  • SOUTHERN COAST OF HVAR
Sveta Nedjelja – (optional) wine tasting in an underwater wine cellar at a restaurant Bilo Idro whose owner is a family famous for producing some of the best Croatian wines. Apart from tasting three sorts of wine you get a fabulous view of the slopes with traditional vinyards so typical for the area.
Lučišća – a tame and quiet cove with specific and somewhat dramatic cliffs reaching high above the sea. An ideal spot for a swim in an extraordinary landscape far away from the crowds and noise.
Crvene Stijene (Red rocks) – one of the gems that remains hidden from the crowds and which will take your breath away. A true wonder of nature – stunning red cliffs contrasting the crystal clear sea. Here you get a chance to swim into a cave with a tall ceiling where a tiny beach awaits you.
Dubovica or Borča – normally one of these is added to the plan. Both beautiful beaches ideal for an additional swim.

We stop for lunch* at Mlini on the Pakleni islands or Vela Garška.
Mlini – a family owned restaurant with traditional Dalmatian food in an exquisitely beautiful bay, with a quiet, clean beach.
Vela Garška – a bay which on one side has a beach and a restaurant that serves traditional local specialties, while on the other is a cosy beach bar where you can relax and have a final swim.

  • THE PAKLENI ISLANDS
A must for all Hvar visitors as they are magnificent in their beauty and diversity. This tour will take you on a cruise during which you will enjoy in some fantastic scenery. A chance to go swimming in bays with crystal clear sea. We normally stop at Jerolim, Tovorski bok, Perna, Stare stone, Taršće. The tour usually ends at Mlini bay which is our suggestion for lunch* and relaxing in a beautiful bay.

*Lunch is not included in the price of the tour.

Froggyland Admission Ticket

Froggyland Admission Ticket - Split, Croatia

Duration: 30 minutes
Location: Split, Croatia

From USD
$7.79

The collection consists of 507 prepared frogs, a type of green frog (lat. Wound of esculenta). Frogs were prepared in a very demanding way, a mouth-drafting technique, which is an extremely complex and long-lasting process, so that the exhibits are devoid of any external cuts.

Comparing Ferenc Merea's collection with similar collections of other authors, it is clear that Ferenc Mere was a top expert in the preparation of small animals. The collection originally consisted of 1000 copies of which 507 were preserved in perfect condition. The very significance and size of the collection is proven by comparison with other preparers, such as Francois Perrier, who left behind a collection of prepared frogs of 108 pieces, then the famous English taxi driver Walter Potter, whose collection is 79 frogs, and Pierre-Yves Renquin, whose collection consists of 42 specimens .

The collection consists of 21 exhibits in which frogs are located thematically and show various life topics.Through 10 years of patient, demanding and highly adventurous way of preparing Ferenc Mera, he became the father of a unique collection which, one hundred years after its birth, remained the largest and the best such collection in the world. Until the tiniest details, he managed to portray the everyday lives of people through the views of the forge, carpenter's workshop, tailor's shop, school, circus and many different life scenes.

This collection is truly a unique and top-notch example of a taxidermist who, along with technical, has the same artistic value that intrigues and attracts people and leaves no one indifferent.
