Your admission ticket will give you access to the Museum of Broken Relationships, a museum which is dedicated to failed love relationships. Its exhibits include personal objects left over from former lovers, accompanied by brief descriptions of troubled love affairs and family relationships. Your admission ticket has a duration of 1 hour.

Visit: Museum of Broken Relationships

Museum of Broken Relationships is a physical and virtual public space created with the sole purpose of treasuring and sharing your heartbreak stories and symbolic possessions. It is a museum about love and loss.

At its core, the Museum is an ever-growing collection of items, each a memento of a relationship past, accompanied by a personal, yet anonymous story of its contributor. Unlike self-help instructions for recovery from grief and loss, the Museum offers the chance to overcome an emotional collapse through creativity - by contributing to its universal collection.

Museum of Broken Relationships is an original creative art project conceived by Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić in 2006. It has since taken thousands of people on an empathetic journey around the world, challenging ideas about heritage. Its original permanent location was founded in Zagreb. In 2010 it won the EMYA Kenneth Hudson Award as the most innovative and daring museum project in Europe.

Your 1-hour admission ticket will give you access to the Museum of Broken Relationships, where a collection of personal mementos, letters, and artifacts tell the stories of troubled love affairs and family relationships.

Due to its unique natural features, magnificent forests and extraordinary geomorphologic structures, the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was proclaimed a national park in 1949. The main reason for proclaiming this area a national park was the protection of the largest and best preserved forest complex in the territory of Dalmatia, which was threatened by overexploitation. The Paklenica National Park stretches on the area of 95 km2 , on the littoral slope of South Velebit under the zone of highest mountain peaks Vaganski vrh (1752) and Sveto brdo (1753).
It covers the area of torrent flows of Velika Paklenica and Mala Paklenica, and their distinctive canyons carved vertically into the south slopes of Velebit and the broader surrounding area. The relatively small area has an abundance of geomorphological phenomena and forms, diverse flora and fauna, attractive landscapes and intact nature. Diverse habitats in the area of Paklenica, along with elevation stratification, provide a home for diverse fauna.
Distinctive features of Paklenica National Park are autochthonous forests of black pine, several types of beech forests and deep canyons with torrent flows of Velika and Mala Paklenica. Wider area of Paklenica National Park prides itself with rich and diverse cultural heritage.

Froggyland Admission Ticket

Froggyland Admission Ticket - Split, Croatia

Duration: 30 minutes
Location: Split, Croatia

$6.48

The collection consists of 507 prepared frogs, a type of green frog (lat. Wound of esculenta). Frogs were prepared in a very demanding way, a mouth-drafting technique, which is an extremely complex and long-lasting process, so that the exhibits are devoid of any external cuts.

Comparing Ferenc Merea's collection with similar collections of other authors, it is clear that Ferenc Mere was a top expert in the preparation of small animals. The collection originally consisted of 1000 copies of which 507 were preserved in perfect condition. The very significance and size of the collection is proven by comparison with other preparers, such as Francois Perrier, who left behind a collection of prepared frogs of 108 pieces, then the famous English taxi driver Walter Potter, whose collection is 79 frogs, and Pierre-Yves Renquin, whose collection consists of 42 specimens .

The collection consists of 21 exhibits in which frogs are located thematically and show various life topics.Through 10 years of patient, demanding and highly adventurous way of preparing Ferenc Mera, he became the father of a unique collection which, one hundred years after its birth, remained the largest and the best such collection in the world. Until the tiniest details, he managed to portray the everyday lives of people through the views of the forge, carpenter's workshop, tailor's shop, school, circus and many different life scenes.

This collection is truly a unique and top-notch example of a taxidermist who, along with technical, has the same artistic value that intrigues and attracts people and leaves no one indifferent.
