If you are seeking an interesting, fun-filled and enjoyable day out in the beautiful environment of Istria, look no further than this adventure for the whole family. At Glavani Park near Barban in Istria, there's the largest high-ropes climbing course in Croatia. It also has an animal park for everyone to see goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, dogs and cats.

Glavani Park is situated on the edge of the quiet village of Glavani 6km from Barban on the road towards Vodnjan (10km), and well signposted from the main Pula – Labin road at the Manjadvorci junction.

Glavani Park started business on June 1, 2011, and immediately became a success for the Croatians and tourists alike. The Park has been certified by the European Ropes Course Association and is inspected every year to ensure that it continues in its very high safety standards. The staff are professional, qualified and extremely friendly.

Building on this success, Glavani Park doubled in size for the 2013 season adding two new major attractions: a fantastic 11 meter high 3G swing, which is constantly voted the best thrill and adrenaline rush in the park; and the Devil’s Causeway, which is the huge suspension bridge across the valley consisting of four zip lines, a long skateboard run, three mad crossing bridges and the highlight; a 35 meter long monocycle ride 12 meters above the valley floor! One zip line takes you 120 meters along and 20 meters above the valley floor.

For 2017 we have added human catapult, climbing wall and quick jump. More info on our website.

Once ready you will spend just a few short minutes on the two meter high “yellow level” training and small children’s course before deciding if you are ready to start the 6 meter high “blue level” course which, after 10 great and variable games, ends on the thrilling 113 meter long zip line. Now you are ready for the 10 meter high “black” course with even bigger and more taxing games, which ends with another trip down the 113 meter long zip line.

Discover the best of Istria — Croatia’s northernmost peninsula, famous for its spectacular scenery — during this 8-hour, small-group tour. Led by a local guide, you’ll visit four of the region’s historic, medieval-era towns: Motovun, Grožnjan, Oprtalj and Završje. Between the four, discover 13th-century ruins, views of the Motovun Forest, local galleries and artisan boutiques, and sites of Croatian cultural heritage. You’ll be transported between the four by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, but will also do a fair amount of walking in each destination.

Setting off at 9am, and in the company of a small group, you’ll be led by a local guide to discover four of Istria’s most beautiful medieval towns. Transported by comfortable minivan, you’ll have the chance to admire Istria’s ruggedly beautiful scenery as you go — and will also do some exploring on foot at each of the four destinations.

Your first stop is the hilltop town of Motovun, which is famous for its Venetian colonial architecture. See its 13th-century fortification walls, which are still intact, and admire views over Učka Mountain and the Mirna River Valley.

Next, you’ll head to the town of Grožnjan, which is known as a local haven for artists and other creative types. Though it was nearly abandoned by the 1950s, this medieval town gained a new lease on life when painters, musicians, and other artists began to flock here. Today, you can wander its cobbled alleys and discover numerous galleries and art studios — and even pick up some unique souvenirs.

After that, it’s on to the town of Oprtalj, situated in the northwest of Istria. This lofty town is beloved of nature lovers, hikers, and truffle hunters. It’s also a favorite of cultured types, given that it’s filled with medieval- and Renaissance-era landmarks.

Finally, your last stop on this full-day tour is the lovely town of Završje, whose historic center is a Croatian cultural heritage site. Among its famous buildings are three historic churches, a castle, and a leaning bell tower. Završje is also on the Parenzana cycling route, one of the most beautiful bike paths in Croatia.

Soon we are back on the Vespas and headed throe Oprtalj to Zavrsje, an almost completely abandoned town that is more like a monument than living place. There we will have short break for a visit and plenty of photo opportunities.

From Zavrsje we will be off to Groznjan for a 25 min drive, a city of artists with lots of artisan shops, Jazz festival, local product shops and also some great views to enjoy.
There we will visit my friend Sandra's shop where she sells truffle products (only ones she get herself from the woods) and olive oil her father is doing.
She will do great presentation and get you know more about truffles and olive oil.  Then if we feel like we will visit the small artisan shop to see some of the local handmade art pieces, souvenirs and similar stuff.

You will have some time off to enjoy the Groznjan and then around 12:30 pm we will had back to Oprtalj on a half an hour drive for our lunch in local tavern.
After lunch, there is some spare time to walk around Oprtalj and see its historic venues.

We will then head back down to Livade to finish the riding part of the trip.
In Livade you will get to visit Sveto's honey shop. He is one of the best bee keepers in the area and his honey of all sorts, grappas, and even cosmetic products will be true pleasure to taste and try.

For last part of the tour we will take a short drive with a van to visit Motovun (usually we would go there on Vespas, but the road is closed for works until further notice).
Motovun is a true Istrian gem and there you can walk around to see all the history, fortified walls and have time for a walk and relaxation.

After all that we will head back to your accommodation in afternoon around 4pm.
estimated time of arrival at accommodation may vary upon traffic and distance, but is roughly around 5 pm.
